Working in Green
Green's parks page lists 13 parks and facilities, among them Boettler Park and Southgate Park on Massillon Road and Central Park on Steese Road. Nimisila Reservoir Metro Park has lots on Christman Road and South Main Street, and Summit Metro Parks says the 825-acre reservoir is its largest body of water.
Ohio Magazine says much of Green's housing sits near the I-77 Massillon and Arlington Road exits, and names the Akron-Canton Airport among the city's key employers. Green borders New Franklin to the west, so if you work in both, your Google profile can list the towns you actually cover.
Permits and contractor registration in Green
Summit County's Department of Building Standards lists Green among the communities it serves for permits, plan review and inspections. The city's Zoning Division issues permits for new structures and takes right-of-way permit applications for aprons and road openings. Green's code says a zoning permit is effective for 12 months.
